So, why start a locals.com community page? Well, good question. First, social media such as Facebook and Twitter are increasingly censoring divergent voices and limiting their posts to reach their followers. Secondly, outlets that don't 'fit' the narrative are de-platformed. So, to connect directly with our readers on current events, we decided the best way to circumvent the system is to start our own locals.com community page. Locals.com values free speech and the constitution, so it made sense to join. We want to bring you, our reader, stories on TOPICS you care about. We hope our community page is of value, and the content we post and discuss inspires engagement and dialogue.
We welcome all freethinkers to our community. Let's focus on the news ABOVE the NOISE.
As a reminder. We are now over at substack. This gives us greater flexibility with producing better content for our readers. Consider joining our newly released ThinkCivics+ newsletters.
